Finance Officer - Mother of Good Counsel School, North Cairns

About the role

Catholic Education Cairns is recruiting a Finance Officer for Mother of Good Counsel School in North Cairns. The position provides comprehensive support for the school's financial and administrative services, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and contributing to the smooth running of school activities. It is a term-time, fixed-term role of 38 hours per school week, from 16 January 2027 to 21 January 2028 (extension possible).

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable and maintain financial records.
• Support enrolment processes and respond to enquiries by telephone and email.
• Oversee internal financial controls and prepare financial reports.
• Assist in the development of school budgets.

Required profile

• A Working with Children Blue Card.
