Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Finance Officer to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of our five‑star hotel in Glenelg. This full‑time, parental‑leave cover position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday roster within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Conduct weekly internal audit and control checks on selected hotel areas.
• Execute daily Opera imports into the SUN system.
• Review management dockets, rebates and miscellaneous vouchers.
• Record all outstanding purchase orders and invoices at month‑end for accrual purposes.
• Assist in accurately invoicing customers for goods and services provided by the hotel.
• Support timely collection of payments to prevent bad debts.
• Help control the payment of hotel expenses and related financial transactions.
