Finance Manager – National

About the role

ACCIONA Agua is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial performance, governance, and strategic financial management of its water infrastructure portfolio across Australia. This senior position partners with executive, operational, and project teams nationwide to drive commercial performance, support business growth, and provide financial leadership on major projects and tender opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for a national portfolio.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership to support growth and operational excellence.
• Assess financial implications of business strategies, investment decisions, and project opportunities.
• Partner with Project Directors and Operations teams to monitor project performance, profitability, and cash flow.
• Lead project financial reviews, cost‑control initiatives, and margin‑improvement strategies.
• Develop financial models, pricing strategies, and commercial evaluations for bids and tenders.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with Australian Accounting Standards and ACCIONA’s global requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience working with water infrastructure or large‑scale capital projects.
• Ability to provide strategic financial advice to senior executives.
• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and corporate governance.
