Finance Manager

About the role

A growing international business headquartered in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join its Brisbane CBD office. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role leads finance operations, strengthens financial controls, drives process transformation and partners with senior stakeholders. It is a hands-on leadership position covering both operational and strategic finance, with a finance team across Australia and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, deliver monthly management accounts and reports, reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and support external audit and tax lodgement
• Improve use of NetSuite and AI, reduce reliance on manual Excel processes and build structured reporting
• Coach and develop the team, providing performance management
• Help build the annual budget framework, maintain a reforecasting model and support pricing and investment decisions
• Act as the senior finance point of contact for the partner client, overseeing trading, reporting and reconciliation obligations

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified, with substantial post-qualification experience in financial control and reporting
• Proven track record leading month-end close, statutory reporting and external audit
• Experience across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Demonstrated people leadership and stakeholder management

Required skills

• NetSuite or a comparable ERP
• Budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision support
• Automation of manual Excel-based processes

What we offer

• Salary of $150,000 - $190,000 per annum
