Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial management for the Residential Care business unit, overseeing month‑end and year‑end accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. The role partners with operations heads and the Revenue and Billing team to ensure accurate billing, funding and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end financial and statutory accounting, including journal entries, allocations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and commentary for strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts in Workday Adaptive Planning across the Residential Care unit.
• Support the Revenue and Billing Team Leader to ensure timely and accurate billing and funding reconciliations.
• Manage one direct report and develop strong relationships with Heads of Operations, Facility Managers and commercial teams.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of practical experience in a similar finance role.
• CPA or CA qualified with ability to apply accounting standards.
• Effective stakeholder communication and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Workday Adaptive Planning (budgeting/forecasting tool).
• PowerBI reporting.
• Large ERP experience – Epicor and/or Sun systems.
• Financial and management accounting expertise.
