Finance Manager

About the role

Join Built Living’s finance team to shape funding, modelling and construction finance for one of Australia’s most ambitious housing ventures. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will support the full project lifecycle from feasibility to construction reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debt drawdowns, equity calls, funding forecasts and liquidity across platform, pipeline and construction.
• Monitor debt facilities, interest costs, covenants, limits and maturity profiles; coordinate lender reporting and compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial models for development, construction and platform; perform scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Support month‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and statutory requirements for projects, SPVs and entities.
• Provide commercial and financial support for acquisitions, refinancing, due diligence and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial finance, project finance, property development, construction or related project‑based environment.
• Strong commercial and financial judgement with ability to partner across development, construction and investment teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Property or related discipline.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior management, lenders and investors.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Cash‑flow forecasting, feasibility modelling and investment analysis.
• Experience with debt drawdowns, equity funding, lender reporting and financial covenants.
