Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function for both Roomstay (SaaS) and Dijitally (agency). The role spans multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations across Australia, the UK and Ireland and requires a commercially minded accountant who can bring structure, control and clear insight to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end finance ownership: invoicing, bank and card reconciliations, accounts receivable, supplier payments and maintenance of accurate records in Xero.
• Manage multi‑entity and multi‑currency transactions, including FX processing via platforms such as Airwallex.
• Oversee payroll for an international team and ensure compliance with BAS, GST, PAYG and other statutory obligations.
• Produce decision‑focused monthly reporting packs covering revenue, gross margin, operating costs, cash position and profitability.
• Build and maintain rolling cash‑flow forecasts, highlighting cash risks, constraints and working‑capital needs.
• Partner with the founder to analyse client and project profitability, track SaaS revenue performance and identify margin leakage.
• Design and implement structured finance processes, improve efficiency, reduce manual work and establish clear ownership across finance activities.

Required profile

• Commercially minded accountant with experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments.
• Proven ability to drive finance operations end‑to‑end and provide actionable insight to leadership.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax and payroll compliance (BAS, GST, PAYG).
