Finance Manager (Full Time)

About the role

Hilton is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Finance Manager to join its leadership team at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge, located in Perth's entertainment and cultural precinct. The role oversees the hotel's financial operations, gives financial guidance to the General Manager and department heads, and helps drive business performance through financial planning, reporting and cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance and effective internal controls
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decisions
• Work with the General Manager and department heads to give financial guidance and support operational performance
• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Identify ways to improve cost efficiency and profitability
• Maintain effective cash management and safeguard the hotel's financial resources
• Evaluate financial performance and support investment decisions
• Use financial systems and technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 12 months of full Australian working rights; sponsorship is not offered
• Proven managerial accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality
• Experience leading and developing a Finance team
• Excellent written and verbal English

Required skills

• Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal financial controls
• Hotel financial and operational systems such as SUN, OnQ, OPERA, MICROS, Check SCM and HRLINK
• Analytical, problem-solving and commercial decision-making skills
