Finance Business Partner – Senior Finance Leader

About the role

This senior Finance Business Partner position sits within a well‑established FMCG manufacturing organisation in Western Sydney. You will work closely with the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team, providing commercial insight and financial leadership to drive the site’s performance and strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial insight across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, engineering, HR and production planning.
• Partner with the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team to review performance and support strategic direction.
• Lead the monthly site accounting close, reporting, financial analysis and forecasting.
• Oversee standard product costing, new product development, variants, line extensions and trials.
• Manage annual budgets, monthly forecasting and CAPEX planning, including project approval documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance and drive change.

Required profile

• Senior finance experience within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to partner with senior operational stakeholders in a production environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Required skills

• SAP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
