Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will join Cummins' Powergen team in Scoresby, supporting the APAC Powergen business. This permanent, on‑site role provides financial insight, performance reporting and commercial decision support across a growing portfolio of customers, deals and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial analyses, reports and special studies for department and senior management.
• Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
• Execute and consolidate monthly forecasting, highlighting performance, assumptions, risks and opportunities.
• Support deal portfolio with pricing, margin analysis, commercial terms and financial assessment, focusing on medium and large opportunities.
• Develop customer and account profitability views to inform commercial and resource decisions.
• Analyse project financial performance, risk, costing and margin‑at‑completion, and support post‑project reviews.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A.
• Demonstrated capability in forecasting, planning, performance management and financial modelling.
• Experience with complex deals, contracts, project‑based margin analysis and customer profitability.
• Excellent analytical ability to turn financial data into clear insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Effective stakeholder engagement across commercial, operational, project and finance teams.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or similar qualification preferred.
