Finance Business Partner – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – Facilities Maintenance is the strategic finance lead responsible for the financial performance and commercial management of a large, complex multi‑site facilities maintenance contract portfolio. The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders, providing insight and guidance to improve profitability and long‑term contract sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business case development and commercial analysis for facilities maintenance operations.
• Evaluate investment decisions, workforce structures, subcontractor models, inventory management, asset investments and service delivery strategies.
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive financial accountability across the portfolio.
• Own the facilities maintenance financial narrative, including P&L performance, cost‑driver analysis, forecasts, budgets and governance reporting.
• Provide oversight of financial governance, compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to Sodexo policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success influencing executive leaders within a large, complex operational environment.
• Significant experience leading business transformation and commercial improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence strategic business decisions and deliver measurable financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working in facilities management or maintenance organisations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and knowledge of cost accounting or activity‑based costing methodologies.
