Finance Administrator

About the role

Acciona is seeking a Finance Administrator to support the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project. Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will ensure finance and administrative processes are executed accurately and on time, contributing to the successful delivery of this major rail infrastructure initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project docket system, tracking daily data on plant, labour and subcontractors.
• Support payroll by monitoring timesheets, entering data and following up with project supervisors.
• Handle high‑volume accounts payable, including inbox management, invoice approval, cost‑code allocation and supplier liaison.
• Raise and distribute purchase orders promptly.
• Manage accounts receivable and pursue overdue payments.
• Enter payable invoices and prepare banking files.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for the executive team and government submissions.
• Maintain staff records and support onboarding of new employees.
• Respond professionally to stakeholder account enquiries.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within a construction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
