Field Service Technician - SA

About the role

Linde Material Handling, part of the global KION Group, is seeking a driven and reliable Field Service Technician to join its team around the Adelaide area. You will work in a supportive team and gain experience servicing some of the world's premier forklift trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order spare parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from the office and log relevant information.
• Manage service van stock levels and ensure proper maintenance and care of tools.
• Liaise with service allocators to confirm daily jobs and make sure they are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist in repairs of units in the workshop and help other service technicians as required.
• Perform servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts.
• Take part in the after-hours on-call service roster in line with company policy and industrial agreements.

Required profile

• Mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• Positive attitude to work and enjoyment of servicing and maintenance work.
• Customer service and communication skills.
