Field Service Technician - HVAC

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is hiring a Field Service Technician to service the Geelong region. You will work for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and gain exposure to in-house product training on chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS). The day-to-day involves routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Routine troubleshooting of air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment
• Testing, repairs and maintenance
• Taking ownership of problems and following them through to resolution
• Maintaining high standards of quality and delivery while exceeding customer service expectations
• Supporting sales growth, market share expansion and net profitability

Required profile

• Self-motivated, proactive, professional, punctual and well presented, with a can-do attitude
• High level of oral and written communication skills
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Air-conditioning and refrigeration Supervisor's licence
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence
• Nice to have: OEM training or experience

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
• Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC components
