Field Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Services Representative (FSR) to join our team at RAAF Base Amberley. This position offers the chance to apply deep aviation maintenance expertise while supporting Defence customers and industry partners in a dynamic operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice and troubleshooting support to maintenance teams.
• Participate in a 24/7 AOG support roster.
• Deliver mentoring and technical training to maintenance personnel.
• Support aircraft maintenance activities at base and deployed locations.
• Partner with Defence, OEM and industry stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Develop practical solutions to improve aircraft availability and reliability.
• Contribute to technical instructions, maintenance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Required profile

• Collaborative aviation professional with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as certifying maintenance staff in operational aircraft environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to mentor, coach and develop maintenance personnel.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
