Field Marketing Specialist

About the role

El Jannah is looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to introduce the brand to new Melbourne communities and strengthen its presence across existing Victorian stores. This role focuses on community‑driven activations, local partnerships, and ensuring the in‑store experience reflects the brand promise.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the custodian of El Jannah’s brand equity as it expands into Melbourne.
• Translate the brand’s Western Sydney origins into authentic Melbourne‑specific experiences.
• Plan and execute grassroots activations such as football watch‑alongs, school partnerships, nightlife events, and cultural tie‑ins.
• Build lasting relationships with local clubs, schools, cultural organisations and community networks.
• Coordinate local area marketing for each Victorian store, tailoring activities to neighbourhood demographics.
• Support new store openings by connecting them with relevant community activities from day one.
• Maintain detailed suburb‑level knowledge of store performance, foot traffic, competitor landscape and local identity.
• Track and report on community engagement, activation performance and brand sentiment.
• Share local insights with the broader marketing team to refine scaling strategies.

Required profile

• A genuine connection to El Jannah’s brand and culture, ideally with a Western Sydney or Lebanese‑Australian background (not essential).
• Strong understanding of how the brand built its reputation in Western Sydney.
• Passion for community engagement and cultural authenticity.

Required skills

• Experience planning and executing community‑focused marketing activations.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse local stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and brand sentiment.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal teams and external partners.
