Festival Director – Barossa Vintage Festival 2027

About the role

The Barossa Vintage Festival Management Committee is seeking a visionary Festival Director to lead the planning and delivery of the 2027 Barossa Vintage Festival. This senior role will shape one of the region’s most cherished celebrations, blending community heritage, creativity, and a strong sense of place.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end planning, programming and execution of the 2027 festival.
• Report progress and outcomes to the Management Committee.
• Collaborate closely with community groups, partners, stakeholders and event participants.
• Develop and nurture partnerships that enhance the festival experience.
• Ensure the festival reflects Barossa’s unique culture and history.

Required profile

• Highly motivated individual or team with strong collaborative leadership.
• Creative, agile, and community‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large‑scale events (experience in similar festivals is an advantage).
• Deep connection to or knowledge of the Barossa region.
