Fast Food Team Leader - Drive-Thru (Berrinba)

About the role

The Yiros Shop, a family-owned Australian fast-food chain serving Greek-inspired street food with 15 restaurants across Queensland, is looking for a Fast Food Team Leader for its Berrinba drive-thru restaurant. The role suits someone with leadership experience in fast food or hospitality who enjoys a fast-paced environment, with breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant to a high standard
• Lead and support team members, including juniors
• Train and develop staff to achieve outstanding results
• Monitor store performance and meet KPIs
• Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns professionally
• Prepare food, including operating the deep fryer and grill
• Handle cash and operate the register
• Keep the restaurant clean and maintain food safety standards

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Shift Leader in fast food or hospitality
• Natural leader who can motivate and support a team
• Great communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Reliable, organised and able to perform under pressure
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and school holidays
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene

Required skills

• Alert Food Safety Certificate (free online, must be completed before starting)
• Valid working rights in Australia (passport and visa grant letter for international workers)
• Restaurant Supervisor (RSA) certificate to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
