Fast Food Team Member - Morning Shift (Berrinba Drive-Thru)

About the role

The Yiros Shop, a family-owned Australian fast-food chain serving Greek-inspired street food, is hiring a Fast Food Team Member for its Berrinba restaurant. The role covers breakfast and lunch shifts including weekends, and suits someone who enjoys fast-paced work and good service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve the restaurant's Greek street food quickly and with a smile
• Deliver friendly, fast and efficient customer service
• Handle cash and operate the register
• Prepare food and carry out kitchen operations
• Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
• Keep the restaurant clean and meet food safety standards
• Work as part of a team to reach restaurant targets each shift

Required profile

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for great service
• Reliable, punctual and able to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
• Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach
• Flexible availability including weekdays, evenings, weekends and school holidays
• Prior experience in fast food or hospitality is desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Alert Food Safety course (free online, must be completed before starting)
• Valid working rights in Australia (passport and visa grant letter for international workers)
• Restaurant Safety Assessment (RSA) certificate to be obtained within 30 days of starting
