Extended Hours Kindergarten Educator

About the role

Campbelltown & Koonooma (C&K) is Queensland's leading provider of early childhood education and runs the Gumdale Community Kindergarten. This Educator position works in the Extended Hours Program, which continues children's learning after the kindergarten day. You will partner with the Extended Kindergarten Coordinator to help children become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners. The role is permanent part-time, Monday to Friday from 1.50pm to 6:15pm, with extra hours available during school holidays.

Required profile

• A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or willingness to work towards it.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (funded by the employer).
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Police check current within three months, or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for high-quality outcomes for children, families and the community, and a team-player approach.

What we offer

• $32.18-$39.86 per hour plus superannuation.
• $1000 retention bonus paid twice yearly.
