Experienced Traffic Controllers – Inland Rail

About the role

KPI Traffic Control is hiring experienced, rail-ticketed crew for work on the Inland Rail corridor, recruiting mainly from the Seymour area. The work is close to home, with consistent local shifts. Only applicants who live in Seymour or the surrounding towns (Tallarook, Avenel, Mangalore, Trawool, Locksley) will be considered.

Available roles (rail tickets only)

• Traffic Controllers: current Victorian traffic ticket
• Team Leaders: current Victorian traffic ticket
• Pod Truck Operators: current VIC traffic ticket and HR licence
• TMA Operators: current VIC traffic ticket, HR licence and RIIRTM301E

Required profile

• Current Victorian traffic tickets: RIIWHS205E, RIIWHS302E, RIISS00057, RIISS00058, RIISS00059 (all valid until 1 February 2027)
• For TMA operators: RIIRTM301E; for Pod Truck and TMA operators: HR licence
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Rail requirements: Metro Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card, SARC/SWIRC access to the rail corridor (TLIF0020), Category 3 rail medical (current or able to obtain); V/Line accreditation is desirable
• White Card and HLTAID011 first aid (desirable); ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Proof of all current competencies must be provided at application; employment is subject to verification of RIW status, pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing, and meeting client and project inductions
