Experienced Pipelayers, Operators & Labourers – Sydney

About the role

JK Williams is expanding its pipe team in Sydney and is looking for experienced pipelayers, excavator operators and labourers. The positions are full‑time, on‑site roles working 7 am to 5 pm, five days a week, on a variety of stormwater and concrete drainage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install stormwater and concrete drainage systems according to plans.
• Operate excavators, perform trenching and benching work safely.
• Assist with site set‑up, material handling and general groundwork.
• Liaise with supervisors, engineers and other crew members to resolve on‑site issues.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in service installation or earthworks.
• Australian residency with the right to work.
• Current White Card, valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
• Willingness to take direction from supervisors and project managers.

Required skills

• Excavator operation (including trenching and benching).
• Interpretation of construction plans and drawings.
• Installation of stormwater and concrete drainage systems.
• Possession of relevant plant & equipment tickets (SOA, VOC, HR/MR, Dogman/Rigger).
