Expeditor – Supply Chain & Procurement

About the role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Expeditor ensures that all equipment, materials and documentation are delivered on time to support the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant project in Perth. The role acts as the critical link between Procurement, Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Logistics and suppliers, keeping purchase orders aligned with project schedules and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor purchase orders from award through to delivery.
• Track supplier manufacturing, inspection and shipping progress.
• Conduct supplier follow‑ups and progress review meetings.
• Identify and escalate delivery risks and shortages.
• Coordinate logistics and site teams for shipments.
• Maintain accurate expediting records in SiteSense.
• Prepare expediting reports on progress, risks and actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement or a related field.
• Experience expediting in construction, resources or EPC/EPCM projects.
• Proficiency with SiteSense, SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
