Executive Manager - Tax Compliance and Reporting

About the role

ALDI Australia is looking for an Executive Manager - Tax Compliance and Reporting within its National Finance and Administration department, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position overseeing tax reporting, filing and compliance obligations across income tax, GST/BAS, FBT and tax accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of ALDI's tax reporting, filing and compliance obligations across income tax, GST/BAS, FBT and tax accounting.
• Coordinate the preparation and provision of data for internal reviews, external advisors, audits and revenue authority matters.
• Implement tax technology, automation, data improvement and process optimisation initiatives within compliance and reporting, in line with agreed tax governance and technology priorities.
• Build working relationships across the Tax Team, Finance and other stakeholders to support timely collaboration, issue resolution and compliance delivery.
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation and maintain ALDI's tax governance framework to minimise risk.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification is essential; a Master's degree in Tax is highly regarded.
• Strong demonstrated leadership experience with income tax and GST/BAS, either in a professional services firm or a large corporate environment.
• Proactive, clear communicator, inclusive collaborator, decision maker and change catalyst.

Required skills

• Experience implementing, maintaining and enhancing tax compliance technologies.
• Knowledge of income tax, GST/BAS and FBT compliance.
