Events Coordinator - Marketing

About the role

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, a large legal partnership in Australia, is looking for an Events Coordinator in Brisbane. The role reports to and supports the National Events Manager, assisting with end-to-end event management, stakeholder coordination and on-site delivery. It works closely with the marketing team and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality events ranging from bespoke experiences to large-scale events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver events from concept through on-site execution and post-event reporting and analysis
• Manage event timelines, checklists, briefs, invitations, run sheets and workflows to meet milestones and deadlines
• Prepare event budgets and secure vendors from procurement through to contract
• Liaise with venues and suppliers, negotiate rates and manage event logistics
• Lead on-the-day delivery to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Manage event communications and enquiries, keeping stakeholders aligned on expectations and deliverables

Required profile

• Ideally a minimum of three years' experience in B2B events
• Previous events experience in professional services viewed favourably
• Proven experience managing multiple timelines and stakeholders, and managing event budgets
• Experience delivering a high volume of events
• Full working rights in Australia

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships
• Well-developed critical thinking
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs
• Confidence using event management and collaboration tools
