Event Executive – Hotel Events Management

About the role

As an Event Executive at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, you will be responsible for creating memorable corporate, social and special events that reflect the hotel’s reputation for excellence. You will work closely with clients, the sales team and internal departments to ensure seamless planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate hotel events, internal functions and social gatherings.
• Analyse client requirements and produce detailed Banquet Event Orders.
• Arrange event spaces to exceed guest expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to maximise business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new guests.
• Support the hotel’s service strategy to drive customer loyalty.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all event‑related communication across departments.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar event planning role.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Enthusiastic about career progression.
• Self‑motivated, driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solution‑oriented with a can‑do attitude.
