EUC Engineer - Contract (Adelaide)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for an EUC Engineer on a 6-month contract in Adelaide, with possible extension. The role provides first and second-level onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals, and covers hardware, software and connectivity issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and upgrade IT equipment and software according to company standards.
• Create user accounts, reset passwords and manage access rights in Active Directory and O365.
• Maintain and support AV and conference room equipment, and support meetings hands-on.
• Liaise with remote support teams and vendors on escalations and hardware replacements.
• Maintain asset inventory and manage the equipment lifecycle (procurement, imaging, disposal).
• Support onboarding and offboarding by preparing and recovering user devices.
• Document incidents, requests and resolutions in the ITSM system and comply with IT policies and security protocols.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in an onsite EUC or desktop support role.
• Australian or NZ citizen or PR holder only.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 and general desktop environments.
• Active Directory, SCCM/Intune and BMC Helix (or similar ITSM tool).
• Networking basics (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Experience supporting Dell, HP and Lenovo hardware; familiarity with remote support tools and mobile device management.
