Estimator - Windows and Doors Manufacturing

About the role

An established business founded in 1972, which manufactures high-end windows and doors for premium homes and commercial projects, is looking for an experienced Estimator. Working closely with the design, sales and manufacturing teams, the Estimator reviews plans and drawings, completes take-offs and prepares detailed estimates and quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and plans to understand project requirements
• Complete accurate material and quantity take-offs
• Prepare detailed costings and quotations
• Calculate materials, labour and associated project costs
• Use V3 estimating software to prepare and manage quotes
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to confirm pricing and product requirements
• Review specifications and identify potential issues or variations
• Ensure quotations are accurate and delivered within required timeframes
• Support the sales team with pricing and project information

Required profile

• Experience in estimating, take-offs and preparing quotations
• Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Confidence working across multiple projects and deadlines
