Estimating Manager – Commercial Fit Out

About the role

An experienced Estimating Manager is needed to lead and mentor a growing pre‑construction team for a well‑established commercial fit‑out and refurbishment contractor in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end tender process for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects.
• Lead Design & Construct bids from concept through to submission.
• Review pricing strategies, methodologies and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior estimators and cadets.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and clients.
• Collaborate with directors to shape business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager in commercial fit‑out and refurbishment.
• Strong Design & Construct tendering experience.
• Track record pricing projects typically $2M‑$10M, with exposure to larger projects.
• Leadership ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience with reputable fit‑out contractors in the Sydney market.
