ESD Engineer / Consultant – Brisbane

About the role

A well-known boutique ESD firm from Melbourne is expanding to Brisbane and is looking for an experienced ESD professional with strong business development skills to set up and grow its presence in Queensland. The successful candidate will be the first hire and lead the setup of the new Brisbane office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sustainability/ESD projects and provide expert advice to clients
• Develop new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
• Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring best-practice sustainability outcomes
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture

Required profile

• 2-3+ years' experience in ESD/green building consultancy or building services
• Proven business development skills with a client-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ambitious, self-motivated and ready to take ownership of a new office

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of sustainability practices, NABERS, Green Star and similar frameworks
