About the role
MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for an Escort Security Officer to work at a high-profile data centre in Melbourne. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance; sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who do not yet hold one, with training and support provided.
Key responsibilities
- Verify identification so that only authorised people enter restricted areas.
- Maintain a continuous line of sight of visitors while escorting them through secure areas.
- Inspect hand-carried items in line with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor access logs.
Required profile
- Australian citizen.
- Willingness to obtain an AGSVA NV1 clearance.
- Valid Victorian security licence and valid Victorian driver's licence.
- First aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain them).
- Ability to work a rotating roster, 24/7 availability.
- Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift.
