Equity Research Technology, Media & Telecom Associate

About the role

The Equity Research Technology, Media and Telecommunications Associate will support senior analysts in delivering high‑quality research, compiling daily packs, updating financial models and assisting with client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior analysts on research projects and client requests, including data collection and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models, valuations and databases for covered stocks.
• Maintain economic and industry‑specific databases to ensure accuracy.
• Accompany clients on site visits and produce detailed notes.
• Engage proactively with clients and sales teams to communicate research ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or higher in a business‑related discipline, preferably finance or accounting.
• 2‑5 years experience as a research associate or in investment banking, accounting, or wealth management.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high commercial awareness.
