ENT Surgeon (VMO or Staff Specialist) - Part Time

About the role

Southern NSW Local Health District is recruiting a VMO or Staff Specialist Ear Nose & Throat Surgeon for the South East Regional Hospital in Bega. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, classified as Senior Medical Practitioner, with applications closing on 22 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contemporary, comprehensive specialist ENT services, including health consultations, surgical clinics and on-site operations across Southern NSW.
• Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to ensure quality education and safe clinical practice.

Required profile

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Specialist Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon.
• Recent clinical experience in otolaryngology at the level of a Level 4 hospital.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and lead a team.
• Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident, or eligible to live and work in Australia on a temporary visa.
• Working with Children Check and occupational assessment, screening and vaccination requirements apply.
