Enrolled Nurse Level 2 - Geriatric Care

About the role

The Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit at St Georges Hospital in Kew provides specialised care for older people, with a focus on comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment and management of medical, physical, psychological and social issues associated with ageing. It is part of SVHM's Subacute & Community Services, within the St Vincent's Health Australia Public Hospital division. The unit is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join its collaborative, supportive and highly functioning interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a collaborative, supportive and highly functioning interdisciplinary team.
• Lead and develop exceptional clinical nursing practice.
• Provide holistic care to older persons, with a strong focus on supporting each patient throughout their journey.

Required profile

• Suitably qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse with a background in sub-acute or acute care.
• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Previous clinical experience is desirable.
• Commitment to a person-centred approach to care.
