Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Aged Care

About the role

Euroa Health, a not-for-profit aged care provider serving residents in Euroa, Nagambie, Violet Town, Avenel, Longwood, Ruffy and Strathbogie, is looking for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for its aged care services. The role covers day, afternoon and night shifts and offers part-time or full-time hours, paid at $31-$40 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including comprehensive client assessment and care planning in line with hospital policy and procedures.
• Take a holistic, patient-centred approach to physical, emotional and social needs.
• Ensure quality and standards of care through assessment, care planning, implementation and documentation.
• Develop goal-oriented care plans for each patient and assist with admissions and discharges, including discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Recognise changes in a patient's condition, act and document variations in the plan of care.
• Promote advanced care planning principles.

Required profile

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Current NDIS Worker's Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Experience in aged care nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing and current clinical issues.
