Cleaner - Euroa Hospital

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Cleaner to join its Euroa Hospital team. Euroa Hospital provides public healthcare services across several care settings, including 20 acute care beds and a 3-bed Urgent Care Centre, covering Acute Care, Palliative Care and Ambulatory Care Programs. The Cleaner works throughout the hospital and Urgent Care Centre to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention, keeping the environment safe, welcoming and professionally presented for patients, visitors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a range of cleaning services throughout the hospital and Urgent Care Centre
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention
• Ensure a safe, welcoming and professionally presented environment for patients, visitors and staff

Required profile

• Dedicated and highly motivated cleaner
• Pre-employment screening checks may be required, such as a Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening, police checks, an Aged Care Statutory Declaration and valid working rights in Australia
• Immunisations as mandated by the Department of Health
