End User Computing (EUC) Engineer - Contract

About the role

Hastha Solutions urgently needs an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer on a 6-month contract, with possible extension, to provide end-user level IT support at customer offices in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. The role delivers onsite and remote support for end-user devices and software, supports IT activities and ensures a high-quality user experience under the supervision of the EUC Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and resolve end-user issues in a timely and professional manner, providing troubleshooting, guidance and technical assistance.
• Deliver onsite break/fix support for hardware and software issues, and coordinate escalation of hardware issues to third-party service providers.
• Provide remote support to users and diagnose and resolve laptop and desktop issues.
• Deploy and install software on workstations, and install, configure and maintain customer-owned devices and software.
• Deliver desk-side (in-person) support and maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests and resolutions.
• Support IS project activities as assigned by the EUC Lead and adhere to IT policies, procedures and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are desirable.
• 2-4 years of experience in an EUC, desktop support or IT support role, including onsite and remote support.
• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Hardware troubleshooting and software deployment and endpoint configuration.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management, and experience with third-party vendors.
• Active Directory, basic network troubleshooting and remote support tools (TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
