Employment Consultant – Inclusive Employment Australia Program

About the role

The Employment Consultant will join APM’s Inclusive Employment Australia program at the Joondalup site. You will work directly with people with disability, helping them prepare for, secure and sustain meaningful employment that can transform their lives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify suitable job opportunities and match participants’ skills, interests and abilities.
• Provide coaching on resume writing, interview techniques and workplace readiness.
• Develop creative solutions to overcome barriers and facilitate workplace adjustments.
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices with employers and build lasting partnerships.
• Support participants after placement to ensure long‑term success and job retention.

Required profile

• A passion for diversity, inclusion and disability empowerment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles such as sales, retail, call‑centre, hospitality, consulting or business development is valued.
• Empathetic, solution‑oriented and able to celebrate participants’ achievements.
