Employment Consultant (First Nations) – Darwin & Alice Springs

About the role

Join APM Employment Services as an Employment Consultant supporting First Nations participants in Darwin and Alice Springs. You will provide culturally safe, holistic assistance to help individuals overcome barriers and secure sustainable, long‑term employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver culturally safe, holistic services to participants, guiding them toward sustainable employment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
• Develop tailored employment plans that create culturally appropriate pathways for participants.
• Enhance participants' employability skills and provide ongoing support to employers.
• Ensure service quality while complying with all contractual and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person (preferred).
• Current probationary or open Australian driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle (subject to discussion).
• Willingness to complete a National Police check.
• Willingness to obtain a MyID (standard level).
• Ability to pass a Working with Children check.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
