About the role
The Employee Connection Specialist joins Warner Bros. Discovery's Tier 1 HR Services team in APAC, based in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering a seamless employee experience through onboarding, off‑boarding, benefits, payroll and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to employee inquiries promptly and manage HR transactions in Workday.
- Support reorganizations, position management and prepare payroll information.
- Execute standardized onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
- Oversee benefits administration and address related issues.
- Track probation periods, assist with reporting, audits and provide employment verification.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience in HR services and administration within a fast‑moving environment.
- Professional level of English and knowledge of Australian employment, payroll and labor laws.
- Ability to manage sensitive/confidential issues and deliver strong customer service.
Required skills
- Workday HRIS
- ServiceNow (preferred)
- Microsoft Office, O365 and SharePoint
