About the role

A busy regional hospital on the Central Coast of NSW, about 101 km north of Sydney, is recruiting an Emergency Department CMO for multiple shift vacancies between 3 November 2026 and 31 January 2027. The hospital is a 300-bed teaching hospital offering general medical, general surgical, cardiology, emergency and level 3 intensive care services.

The advertised shifts cover weekdays and weekends, with day shifts (08:00-18:30) paid at $130 per hour and night shifts (14:00-00:00) at $145 per hour, rising to $180 per hour for some Christmas and New Year shifts. Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and hold the right to work in Australia.
