Emergency & Critical Care Nurse Educator

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health, the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, is recruiting an Emergency & Critical Care Nurse Educator. The role sits in the Emergency & Critical Care Clinical Leadership team, working alongside the Director of Nursing on the strategic direction of a large nursing workforce, and leads a mature Clinical Nurse Education team across the Albury and Wodonga campuses. It is a permanent part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement education and training programs across the division
• Lead a Clinical Nurse Education team across both campuses
• Work with internal and external partners on nursing workforce development

Required profile

• Extensive clinical experience in Emergency and/or Critical Care nursing
• Master level qualification in Education or equivalent, or currently working towards it
• Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs
• Demonstrated effective leadership, including communication, problem solving, workforce management and negotiation with internal and external partners
