Electronics Test Technician

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join its Autonomous Underwater Vehicles team in Sydney. You will work on cutting‑edge subsea robotics, performing prototype and production level testing to ensure high‑quality delivery of AUVs to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute testing of prototype and production electronics according to detailed test procedures.
• Assist development and test engineers with system checkout, documentation, and product release.
• Support root‑cause analysis (8D, PPS, 7S) and implement corrective actions.
• Document test results and generate required reports.
• Develop and maintain test fixtures, set up existing test equipment, and monitor outcomes.
• Contribute to automated test stations and support deployment to manufacturing sites.
• Travel occasionally to supplier or other Anduril locations as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments such as maritime, aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
• Ability to read and interpret test procedures, assembly instructions, and engineering schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and circuit analysis.
• Strong attention to detail when handling test equipment and hardware.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Familiarity with electronics test equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, data acquisition systems, and measurement sensors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience drafting test plans and working with CLI applications.
• Programming knowledge in Python, C, C++.
• Understanding of high‑voltage products such as batteries, motors, and power converters.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, RS232/422/485.
