Electrician

About the role

JBS Pork Australia (formerly Rivalea), an integrated agri-food company focused on pork production, is recruiting an electrician for its Corowa site. This full-time position provides an efficient and effective repair and maintenance service for company facilities and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Carry out on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
• Complete daily work routines, jobs and projects according to company needs and priorities.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Assist in the training of other employees and apprentices.
• Help ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
• Contribute to key business activities as required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions, and perform other duties as directed.

Required profile

• Electrical trade qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Working knowledge of maintenance procedures.
• Sound communication skills, initiative and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and willingness to work flexible hours.
• Current driver's licence.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of electrical maintenance practices.
• Basic computer skills.
