Electrical Estimator

About the role

Join an award‑winning industrial engineering business in Wodonga as an Electrical Estimator. You will report to the CEO and be responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates, quotations and tender submissions for major industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical estimates, quotations and tender pricing using Simpro.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and other tender documentation.
• Develop labour estimates and material take‑offs, establishing pricing.
• Source and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify pricing risks, scope gaps and uncertainties during estimating.
• Consider safety, quality and compliance requirements when preparing estimates.
• Maintain estimating databases, supplier relationships and pricing schedules.

Required profile

• Electrical trade qualification or relevant electrical/engineering qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical estimating, quotation preparation or industrial electrical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of electrical labour, materials and installation requirements.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, scopes of work and technical documentation.
