EHS Coordinator – Manufacturing Safety

About the role

The role offers a permanent opportunity to grow your health and safety career within Kraft Heinz’s manufacturing site in Wagga Wagga, NSW. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting compliance and continuous improvement of EHS systems.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure EHS policies, management systems and controls are applied across all departments.
• Maintain compliance with legislative and corporate requirements and conduct due diligence.
• Coordinate and follow up on EHS audits and action plans.
• Mitigate business continuity risks through forward planning with the EHS Mentor and Site Manager.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative EHS performance data and risk assessments.
• Manage post‑injury processes and ensure appropriate systems are in place.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related technical discipline, or a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Relevant experience in EHS or safety management within a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks and experience liaising with regulatory agencies.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems such as AS/NZS 4801 and OHSAS 18001.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience with waste water treatment processes and EHS auditing.
• Strong computer and IT literacy.
