EHS Advisor

About the role

The EHS Advisor will promote high standards of health, safety and environmental management across the site, working closely with the WHSE Manager, production team, HR and the Site Director.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying EHS policies, systems and programs to achieve positive outcomes for staff, clients and contractors.
• Provide EHS training on industry best practice, company and legislative requirements.
• Support accident/incident investigations, prevention initiatives and reporting.
• Participate in audits, inspections, observations and risk assessments for projects and facilities.
• Prepare KPI reports and communicate EHS performance across the business.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, contractors and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in WHS with recent, relevant EHS experience.
• Experience implementing EHS systems and willingness to travel as required.
• Incident investigation qualification or willingness to train in techniques such as ICAM.
• Current working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship).

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of ICAM incident investigation methods.
