Early Childhood Teacher - Pre-K Room Leader

About the role

Campbelltown & K (C&K) is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead its Pre-kindergarten room at the Upper Kedron childcare centre in Brisbane's southeast. The position is a permanent full-time, fixed-term contract until December 2027, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week with monthly RDO.

Key responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, play-based and inquiry-rich learning environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
• Work alongside a team of educators to build meaningful partnerships with families.
• Support each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through experiences that inspire curiosity.

Required profile

• An ACECQA-approved Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card and a current police check.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
