Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

Campbelltown & Kilkenny (C&K) Maranoa Community Kindergarten is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and the wider Roma community. The position is a permanent part-time role starting 18 January 2027, working 7.5 hours each Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday from 7.30am to 3.00pm. Key responsibilities

• Lead the play-based kindergarten program, fostering a culture of learning, inclusion and connection.
• Create engaging environments that spark children's curiosity, exploration and discovery, including outdoor learning.
• Support children's early learning and development while building strong connections with families and local community members.

Required profile

• An ACECQA-approved Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card, and a police check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.

• Wage of $43.41-$59.87 per hour plus superannuation.
