Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

G8 Education is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Toddler Room, with the opportunity to also lead the Nursery Room for candidates who have a particular love for working with our youngest learners. You will join an intensive Early Childhood Teacher First Steps induction program and receive three months of continued support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and plan daily activities for the Toddler (and potentially Nursery) room, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with the ECT Buddy, Community Connection Sessions, and the Early Learning & Education Leadership Team to continuously improve teaching practice.

Required profile

• Hold or be working towards an ACECQA‑approved Graduate Diploma, Bachelor or Masters of Teaching (Early Childhood).
• Current DCSI clearance and Teacher’s Registration or eligibility to apply.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver age‑appropriate curriculum for toddlers and infants.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with families and colleagues.
